HGV Class 1 Driver - Cramlington

Blue Recruitment Personnel are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work for a well-established company in Cramlington.

The role involves driving Class 1 Vehicles to complete the customer deliveries to various sites, private addresses, and new developments.

Requirements:

➢Full UK driving licence (Category C+E) with no more than 6 points
➢Up-to-date CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
➢No major traffic offences - No DR, DD, TT99 or NI codes accepted
➢Compliance with legislation - Maintaining an accurate record of break times according to WTD regulations (drivers’ hours, highway regulations)
➢Adhering to both agencies and client’s regulations and procedures
➢Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered

Working Hours:

➢ Monday to Friday
➢ Start times vary
➢ Weekend availability required

Duties:                       

➢Daily vehicle safety checks

➢Checking vehicle loads are secure                     

➢General Haulage and / or delivering chilled / refrigerated products                                       

➢Mixture of RDC, Local Depots and Commercial deliveries                                                         

➢Carrying out deliveries in a professional and timely manner                                                                     

➢Be flexible, comfortable working alone and confident with driving a variety of vehicles

Requirements:
